A Three-Day Capacity Building Training Programme for Principals and School Heads was successfully conducted at DIET, Panchkula, with the objective of equipping school leaders with the knowledge, skills, and strategies required for effective implementation of NEP 2020.

The programme was inaugurated by Mrs. Sandhya Malik, DEO & Principal, DIET, who emphasized the role of visionary leadership in transforming school education. The sessions across three days covered key themes such as instructional leadership, competency-based learning, socio-emotional learning, experiential and multidisciplinary approaches, assessment reforms including SBA and HPC, digital pedagogy, environmental sustainability, and vocational education.

Resource persons including DIET faculty and experts provided practical insights into aligning classroom practices with NEP 2020 and NCF 2023. Interactive discussions, feedback sessions, and collaborative activities ensured active participation and meaningful engagement of all school heads.

The programme concluded with a valedictory session and certificate distribution, where participants appreciated the training for its relevance, depth, and practical utility. Overall, the training proved to be highly enriching and empowering, enabling school leaders to drive impactful and sustainable changes in their institutions in line with NEP 2020.
